While `edwheeler may not have been here as long as some, and may not seem to have as high of comments, page views, or favorites as some, his presence here is a truly wonderful thing. What he does for the site transcends simple statistics. He has made it his mission to make sure that anything and everything of importance, fun, entertainment and so forth that hits the news, that hits administrators journals, status forums and the like gets translated by him for the Spanish speaking community of dA. We have even encountered postings about dA in Spanish on blogs outside of the site letting people know about the community.
Countless hours and thousands upon thousands of words. In fact, the very words being typed here will be translated without a doubt!
And he doesn’t do it for the praise, he doesn’t do it because he’s asked to, he does it because he wants to and because he wants to help bring as many people back to the place he has come to think of as home, and isn’t going to let something as simple as a language barrier slow that down.
